Massage Effective In Managing Dementia Patients

In the review of two clinical trials, Danish researchers have found that hand massage appears to calm patients suffering from dementia - the predominant symptom of Alzheimer's patients. While more studies are needed to evaluate the effects of massage on patients suffering from dementia, it is clear that different forms of therapeutic touch and massage have some very powerful and as of yet unexplored benefits on the human body.
