Haomiao Jia, PhD, is Assistant Professor at the Department of Biostatistics, Mailman School of Public Health and Department of Nursing, Columbia University. He specializes in biostatistics and study designs. Dr. Jia earned a doctorate in epidemiology and biostatistics from Case Western Reserve University.

His research includes sampling survey methods, small area estimation, temporal-spatial analysis of diseases, time series analysis, health-related quality-of-life, obesity, and cost utility analyses.
